• Bloat Concerns (Lower Stands): For owners prioritizing bloat prevention, selecting a lower height (relative to the dog's size) keeps the head lower during meals, a position some experts recommend for deep-chested breeds like the Rottweiler.

Measuring Guide for a Standard Ergonomic Fit: To ensure modern comfort without over-extending the neck, measure your dog from the floor to the top of their shoulders (withers) and subtract 6 inches.

• Rottweiler Specifics:

  • Males: Typically stand 24"–27" at the withers. Ideally, an 18" stand provides the best ergonomic fit.

  • Females: Typically stand 22"–25" at the withers. A 15" or 18" stand is generally the ideal choice depending on individual height.

• Example: If your Rottweiler measures 24" at the shoulder, an 18" stand is the standard ergonomic choice.

Note: If addressing specific concerns like bloat, you may wish to subtract more than 6 inches to lower the eating height.
