Measuring Guide for a Standard Ergonomic Fit:

To ensure modern comfort without over-extending the neck, measure your dog from the floor to the top of their shoulders (withers) and subtract 6 inches.

Example: The average male Newfoundland stands approximately 28" at the shoulder. Using the ergonomic formula (28" minus 6"), a 22" eating height is the standard target.

Note: If addressing specific concerns like bloat, you may wish to subtract more than 6 inches to lower the eating height.
